Emiliano Grillo overcomes ball traveling in stream for almost seven minutes to win first PGA Tour event in nearly eight years

Emiliano Grillo ended his winless streak on the PGA Tour by winning the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Grillo held a two-shot lead going into the final hole but encountered a mishap with his drive. His ball veered off course and ended up in a stream, slowly making its way back towards him.

After a long wait, the ball finally came to a stop against a rock, forcing Grillo to take a drop.

Despite the setback, Grillo remained resilient and went on to tie with Adam Schenk. Grillo secured victory in a playoff by birdieing the second hole

The triumph made Grillo the second Argentinian to win at the Colonial Country Club since 1957. Grillo's win earned him a substantial prize of $1.566 million.
